In a bit of a whirlwind, Nick and I got engaged in January with our tickets already bought to go say our vows in Big Sur, California and honeymoon. We were so excited to quietly elope in a beautiful place. Unfortunately, I (Megan) got a concussion three weeks before we were planning to fly out.

We had to cancel our flights and postpone the honeymoon but decided to keep our date on track for end of February. Inviting Ben, Nick's brother, and Megs, Megan's sister-in-law, as witnesses, we exchanged vows before a judge in Minneapolis and securely tied the knot on leap day.
